Getting To i-neda

Coming to visit us couldn't be easier. We're just minutes from junctions 4 and 4a on the M3, and serviced by two rail lines. For those lucky enough to have a private jet or helicopter at their disposal, IQ Farnborough's west entrance is just 500m from Farnborough Airport.

By Train

Train services run direct from Farnborough Main station to London Waterloo, Basingstoke, Poole, Portsmouth Harbour and many stations in between. Fast services between London Waterloo and Farnborough Main take just 35 minutes.

Farnborough also has a second station, Farnborough North, which is located on the north eastern edge of the town. This line runs between Reading and Guildford, and all stops between, with regular services also reaching Gatwick Airport, providing a convenient route for visitors arriving from overseas. The service to Reading takes approximately 28 minutes, while Guildford is just 17 minutes.

The IQ Farnborough shuttle bus runs from Farnborough Main station to the business park approximately every 15 minutes, and meets all trains arriving at Farnborough North, during the period 7:30am to 10:00am. In the afternoon a shullte service runs approximately every 15 minutes to both stations, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. The shuttle bus can be taken from outside the RedHat office adjacent to i-neda.

By Car

If you are driving to i-neda, the quickest route is usually via the M3, exiting at junctions 4 (from London) or 4a (from Southampton/Basingstoke). Alternatively, Farnborough is also easily accessible from the A31 Hogs Back road, taking the A331 North towards Camberley.

The Hub is at the centre of the business park, and is signposted from both entrances. Follow on entering the business park follow signs to 'The Hub'. Parking for visitors is available directly in-front of the building.

Staying a While?

If you are staying in Farnborough, there are a number of options ranging in price. We have selected 4 hotels we think offer the best location and service, at a range of prices.

The Village Hotel ($$) is on the IQ business park, only a few hundred metres from our office, and offers good quality accommodation, on-site gym and pool, as well as a choice of dining facilities.

The Premier Inn ($) offers lower cost accommodation, and is located around a mile west of our office. It is a safe walk of around 25 minutes to the office.

The Aviator Hotel ($$$) is an upmarket hotel serving the discerning visitor. With views across the airfield from the Skybar, and great dining in the Brasserie restaurant, the Aviator Hotel is Farnborough's best. The hotel is located around 15 minutes walk south of the office on the route towards North Camp.

The Farnborough Central Travelodge ($) provides good value accommodation in the centre of Farnborough, and has only just opened, so is brand new (at the start of 2010). Its located in the centre of Farnborough around a 10 minute walk from our office, and adjacent to the main shopping area.

Other local hotels are available in the vicinity, including the Holiday Inn (North Camp), Inn Keeper's Lodge (Fleet) and Travel Lodge (Camberley). These hotels are up to a 15 minute drive from our office and not recommended without a car.

Make a Trip of It

While you're here, why not make a trip of it? Farnborough is located just 35 minutes by train from central London, as well as close by to many other attractions. For the racing fan, Ascot and Sandown Park are both within easy reach by train, while the charming royal town of Windsor is around 30 minutes by car. Home to the famous Windsor Castle, Great Park and many other visitor attractions, it also hosts summer evening racing on the banks of the Thames.
